Question on discharge after period and clear blue

Hi ladies,

I am on day 8 of my cycle anf the flow stopped at the end of day 3 but now it’s been 5 days with small discharge of blood mixed with mucus. Usually, I have this for approx 2 days after full flow but now it’s 5 days. I never had any transfer and my last egg collection dates from February. Any idea what this means? And whether I should be worried?

Additionally, I started the Clearblue test yesterday on day 7. i got the white circle. And today I got the flashing face indicating fertile day. Strange as it’s very early. Any idea?

IVF drugs really put your body out of whack, and sometimes it doesn't happen immediately. It sounds like maybe you are having a short cycle this month. Normally post IVF I have a bleed but then the next 2 or 3 AFs are all over the place... sometimes as quick as 2 weeks after the last one.

I also have issues with spotting.. a couple of months ago I had 5 days of spotting pre AF and another 4 days afterwards. Sometimes it can mean things like progesterone issues but these would have been checked pre EC I would have thought and I know mine are normal.

I dont think you need to necessarily be worried but just keep an eye on your next few cycles and see if they settle down.. in the meantime get DTD! xx

Thanks. What was the issue with progesterone when you had the discharge? Too high or too low progesterone? Xx

Sorry I wasn't clear - I have read that often spotting means low progesterone but I have had mine checked a number of times and its always been fine.

When I asked my consultant about it, he just said it was because my body had been so messed up by IVF treatment, MC etc and it was nothing to worry about xx

My last cycle, I took LH tests every day but had no peak. So I assume I did not ovulate. Could it be linked to the progesterone potential problem?

Hi There. I have the same. After failed fresht transfer this what happened.

My withdrawal bleed was heavy and 7 full days.

My first real period came as normal but just lasted 4 days not heavy but dark red brown only.

My second period just came after a week lasted 4 days again light. Yesterday on cycle day 6 had watery cm so thought would opk today. I use internet cheapies and there was a line but not as dark. This indicate that ovulation should be near.

Did u do a pregnancy test recently? I was reading that opks sometimes pick up pregnancy hormones as well? I dont have any so cant test. BUt dont have the symptoms anyway apart from some twinges yesterday. Xx

I did not do a pregnancy test as I had my periods so I assumed that I was not pregnant. I also used a cheap Okp yesterday afternoon in addition to the clearblueb and also had a second line but not as dark

Yea i used to get the smily a day or two after the cheapies startes to show a line. Im afraid as the girls said here on different posts that cycles are al over the place after medicated cycle. To be honest i think this bleed wasnt maybe a real period and we are actual ovulating day 18-19 ish of our last cycle? I do have longer cycles so that does fit. Sorry not much of help. X
