Can’t stop crying

Had my embryo transfer yesterday. My dr reminded me no hot water bottles. Just been out to the shops and used they heated seat on full. Totally not thinking. Now completely convinced I’ve ruined everything and can’t stop crying 😢

You can stop crying, a heated seat isnt going to do anything

Don't get yourself in a state, you need to be calm for the 2ww.

Good luck

Thank you I’m trying to relax as much as I can now but can’t believe I didn’t even think about the stupid heated seat!

I did the same thing as we left the office during my fresh transfer. I was convinced it was the end of it all. BUT, that seat warmer will not change your core temperature. I am 2dp5dt and would loveee to use a heating pad so I can relate... Sending baby dust your way! Stay positive!

I used a heated blanket, but had the cat jump on my tummy and ate takeaways. Try not to fret my lovely ❤️ Easier said that done I know!! Just keep thinking of that little bean getting nice and comfy in your tummy!! xxx

I definitely accidentally did this in my 2ww. Was so annoyed at myself! But it didn’t do any harm and my transfer was successful 😘 xxx

I used an electric blanket and was fine...

Lots of people don’t even know they are pregnant and do all sorts of things! You will be fine x

After a few days of the 2ww I was able to relax into it a bit more and stop thinking about it all the time x

What you are feeling is so perfectly normal, it's a very emotional time, have you heard of mindful IVF app? A lot of ladies here use it. Xx

Thank you I’ll have a look at that xx

Hi

Please try not to worry-like others have said a heated seat won’t do anything and won’t change your core temp. Fingers crossed for you.

Thank you xx

Don’t worry. I know everything little can seem so big. My first transfer i did everything by the book and wasn’t successful but second time I relaxed, sat in the sun and tanned doing coursework in the 2ww (totally didn’t realise I should’ve not been overheating ) and Am currently 38 weeks.

Please my successful transfer was the one I did not stress or have any expectations I know easier said than done but please try to calm.

Xxxx

You only need to be concerned if something changes your core temp. Headed seats wont do that. Try to remain positive and stay calm.
