Hi Laura .. im interested in this as one of the lovely ladies suggested to focus on this in my next fet. Are you doing a fresh transfer or fet? And was also wondering when you start with progesterone. Xx 💋

Hey!!

I’m doing a natural fet with progesterone, 2 pessaries and lubion. I started on Tuesday for a 5 day transfer on Saturday xx

Wish you all the very best !! I was on 3 pessaries a day but not sure what my progesterone numbers were because they dont test. I assume they test with a fet. So that hopefully takes some anxiety away. Lets see what other lovelies recommend here 😘

They usually don’t test as standard! I bled 4dp5dt last time. That’s why I literally made them test mine xx

Thank you Laura. I will ask for it this time xx 💋

Hey Laura.

I’d say that’s ok! What day in your cycle are you? Xxx

Day 19, 20 tomorrow on day of transfer x

That’s fine then! As it peaks naturally at 21 and over 30 shows you’ve ovulated. Mine was 69 on day 19 previously and they said it was a good number.

Good luck tomorrow! Exciting 🤗xxx

My clinic wants progesterone to be at least 30 for transfer. Mine was 35 and, because it was on the lower end, they advised me to add 1x lubion per day (I was already on 8x pessaries per day). I know every clinic is different but your numbers seem fine. Good luck! X

Hey Laura,

That aligns with my experience, are they going to up you progesterone for post transfer? Here’s my story...

I took lubion belly injection AM and PM for 5 days prior to transfer, a cyclogest pessary PM and lentogest bum injection every 3 days. (These are all progesterone...a three pronged attack!) I’m also taking progynova estrogen 2 tablets AM and PM.

They transferred and took a progesterone blood test on the day of transfer. It’s was 80.6. They said for most clinics they like it to be over 75, but my clinic’s standard is different...they like it to be over 100.

I was concerned because it was seemingly lower than they wanted and the transfer has already been done! I was thinking why didn’t they test before adding my precious cargo!! But they didn’t seem panicked, they just upped the pessary to twice a day (the rest remained the same) and retested a week later (would have been sooner but I got ill and they said to prioritize getting better) and the it was 200 and we were back on track.

Then because they felt so confident we did the pregnancy test 3 days early and it came back positive!

The message at my clinic is you can’t have ‘too much’ progesterone, it’s vital to help the baby stick and stay so they throw the kitchen sink at it !

Not what you're looking for?
