Transfer tomorrow

So they just called and said one fertillised normally and will be put back in at 2pm tomorrow 😀. Im so happy because it means i have eggs that can fertilise if nothing else! Feels amazing to get to this point. She said 90% of eggs do split so fingers crossed we dont hear anything off them and just turn up at 2. I hope all of you are having a good day wherever you are xx

Yep, i was shaking when i answered the phone, when she said its good news a weight lifted. Im taking each day at a time, i know nothing is guarenteed, but so far so good and so happy today xx

My clinic told me that for difficult cases like me it’s better to di the transfer separately because they can focus on preparing the endometrium. Also, transfer is not age sensitive while egg collection is, so it makes sense to collect as many eggs as possible now and transfer next year. Number of eggs falls every month they said so for my low ovarian reserve case, it’s a race to make embryos against time

Well that sounds sensible because at least you will know youve done everything to make the uterine enviornment as good as possible for the best chance. I think if i wanted more than one more child id probably do the batching cycles too. Best of luck and glad you got your 3 day frostie xx

Hey, when you get through the first round with no eggs, and then at the second get told you have one thats fertilised thats a massive difference! You got to embrace to good news and learn from the bad x

Thanks Daisy, and yes exactly! Last time to get nothing at the end of it really makes you think what if theres nothing the next time. This round has been so different and gone so well so far, and im so grateful for that. I nearly gave up after the first round, and what a mistake that wouldve been! At least we have a chance now, and thats enough for me right now xx
