Transfer tomorrow!!

Anyone else just clock watching today? I’m so nervous about tomorrow but excited and also dreading the 2ww! Trying to keep myself busy and distracted today but it’s never far from my mind. Anyone else about to start the dreaded 2ww?

I’m with you on the clock watching today! All we can do is try to distract ourselves like you say. We are a day behind you so hoping to transfer on Wednesday if we have any suitable embryos left by then. Wishing you all the best for your transfer tomorrow and the 2ww xxx

Thank you. We had 9 fertilise but most of them have deteriorated with quite a lot of fragmentation. They wanted us to wait until wed rather than transfer today on day 3 (which we have often done in the past). So I’m just holding on to the hope that we might just have one in there that keeps developing, as it’s our last try with my own eggs🤞🤞🤞xx

Aww thanks for asking. Our appointment is at 1pm. They said they’d only call this morning if it was bad news and they needed to cancel. No call yet 🤞🤞🤞. Well my phone did just ring so obviously my heart immediately sank - but it was just my friend wishing me luck 🤣 xx

All the nerves eh! Best of luck and don’t do what I did and drink too much, I had to go to the loo 3 times and pee a wee bit otherwise I think I would have wet myself during the procedure 😂😂😂🙈🙈

Oh god I drank too much last time, plus the transfer was delayed by about 25 mins so I was absolutely bursting by the time I went in the transfer was really difficult. Mustn’t do that again! 🤣 🤦🏽‍♀️xx

At least you’ve been given a time, they just said they would call me. I’m doing a FET though so it needs defrosting I guess 🤷🏽‍♀️ My journey has been relatively quick actually! We did ICSI 2 years ago and now have a 2 year old, so this time it’s a FET from the 3 we have frozen. Just using one so we’ll have to wait and see. Feel I’m putting more pressure on myself as we’ve been successful before x

I went through IVF ICSI over a year ago and resulted in BFN so second time just hope we are lucky but you never know xxxx

Really well thank you xx we transferred 1 4AB and we had 3 over to freeze so delighted much better than the 1st round so praying it’s our time xx ❤️

I was the same, my first cycle was a success now having a 5 yr old

Daughter. Had two frozen embryos used one last year didn’t work and using last one tomorrow 🤞

Ya, it went ok. My progesterone has dropped since Saturday, so they have given the the option of 4* pessaries or additional injection. I went with the pessaries. Now wondering if should have gone with injections. Go back on Friday to find out what levels are x

Yeh I hate the pessaries but they’re easier I guess. Is it 2 in the morning 2 in the evening? How did they check your progesterone levels same day? Hope they’ve risen for you by Friday x

They took blood when I got there. And got results this evening. Ya, 2 in morning and 2 in evening . I hope so x

How are things? How are the pessaries working out? They didn’t check my progesterone levels at all yesterday, hope they were ok!x

I gave up with the pessaries. They keep falling out. So asked them to sort me out with Lubion injections which was their original suggestion. So now I’m having one in the bum and 1 in the stomach. I have a progesterone blood test booked in for Friday. But had to ask for this. Due to it being a concern at my other clinic last year. They were happy to do it. No clue if these injections will help, but the pessaries haven’t worked for us for the last 8 transfers, so had to try something different X
