I am doing one month of trying to conceive naturally as I have an active cyst, hence cannot do IVF this month. I have been pregnant before but it ended up in a miscarriage. I am looking for advice/tips on what to do/ not do to avoid a miscarriage in case it works (let’s keep optimistic!) xx

I think if someone knew the answer to this we’d all be rich! And very happy we’d have the babies we so desperately long for.
Unfortunately this is out of your control. Just be sensible, take your folic acid, take it easy, try and avoid too much stress. This alone can not precent miscarriage. You only need to scroll through this forum to find 100s of women have done all they can and unfortunately they miscarried x
Morning. I tend to agree with Sunshine, as someone who has had three MMC and at least one chemical I think it’s fair to say if there was something I could have done to prevent them I would have done. It sort of suggests that you do something wrong in order to have a MC and that’s really not the case!
You will read lots of things like don’t overheat, don’t drink alcohol, avoid salmonella but even if you do all those things sadly these things still happen. I think all you can do is try and be as healthy as you can and not stress too much. Good luck x

I personally think miscarriage can be genetics as well if it's the embryo that was abnormal in the first place then that can result in miscarriage. But if the embryo was normal there is less risk of miscarriage.
