I had just got back from seeing the gp to let them know that I was pregnant, I came home and went to the loo and there was light pink when I wiped which has gradually become red as the day has gone on πŸ˜“ I think it's all over and we are absolutely gutted. I have the usual period pains alongside it so not feeling hopeful at all. Wishing everyone else loads of luck with whatever you are dealing with today. We will keep going xxx

Hi Keepingfaith85,

I’m so sorry you’re having a scary time. I’ve seen so many posts of ladies that bleed and everything is fine though so try not to tell yourself the worst. They normally say unless it’s heavy and with bad pain than it’s not normally anything to worry about. Try and get some rest for the rest of day and hopefully it will stop. Sending you a big hug xxx

I'm so sorry to read this but I hear a lot of women have bleeding and it's still okay. Why dont you go to your local early pregnancy unit and ask for a scan. Maybe your clinic can put you on extra progestrone? Try to remain hopeful until you know for sure what's going on. X

I'm on 3 x cyclogest a day so I just took my 2nd one a little earlier as I felt like at least I was doing something that might help πŸ˜” I'm at a loss for what to do. I will try and build up the courage to call my clinic in a bit and see what they suggest xx

That's good hun but please talk to your clinic. They might be able to add progestrone injections which could help

Oh lovely goodness I am so sorry to read this. I have no idea, but try not to worry you never know. I’ve heard so much it’s fairly common to bleed and it can be ok. Have you called the clinic? Sending you lots of love xx

Stay strong. This is quite common and doesn’t always mean the worst. Good luck...x

You've done exactly the right thing by getting extra progesterone from your clinic and its great they helped so quickly. I was told 50% of women going through IVF have bleeding and so it's not always bad. It happens for loads of reasons and I've read hundreds of stories of women who bleed and had perfect pregnancies. So keeping everything crossed you'll be. Big hugs xxxxx

Just wanted to say thanks for all the support today, I really appreciate it. My clinic have prescribed lubion and are going to move my scan date a bit earlier. Now I'll just have to wait it out xxx

Hey there! I’m not sure I knew you are pregnant! Great news! πŸ€— Sorry to hear about your bleeding, is it heavy or just spotting? Are you having pain? It happens to many people! I recently read in the forum someone passed red blood and big clots and when she went to the scan the baby was totally fine and with a strong heartbeat! I understand the feeling though, you must be very worried. Hopefully everything is ok in there! Wishing you all the best πŸ’•

It's light bleeding but enough to need a pad. It was light pink before but now a deep red πŸ˜₯ It's the normal time I would get my period as I have longer cycles and I have usual period pains and back ache. Hard to feel any hope right now to be honest but there does seem to be a lot of people that have bleeding and go on to be okay. I don't think that's the case for me but I will rest and hope xx

Hi sorry to hear you’re going through this it’s a scary time. It happened me when I was 8 weeks pregnant, I had a lot of bleeding and passed a large clot. We were devastated and assumed we had lost the baby but Gp sent me for scan and there was baby wriggling away, she is now sitting beside me and is a very healthy 4 year old. Wishing you all the best xx

Aww that's a lovely story 😊

Do you mind me asking, did it feel exactly like your period? Mine does unfortunately... it's the same time as I would have gotten my period as I have longer cycles.

I had a few pains but not severe and once I rested bleeding stopped it then started again at 11 1/2 weeks but no pain at that time and was very light. They couldn’t tell me why it happened. I hope all works out ok for you x
