Had a call not long after I arrived home to inform me they have injected 5 of the 6 eggs collected.

They are ringing me tomorrow update me on how they are developing.

I really underestimated how hard this part would be.

I used to think about starting treatment and think the hardest part would be the injections, pain after egg retrieval and then the TWW. Never thought for a second that this would be the most nerve wrecking time.

My husband just said to me that the TWW will be just as bad and I said at least our little embryo will be home and safe with us.

The waiting is the hardest part throughout all of this, and when you get to this stage, every day or two days or however often they update you is difficult! You can do this! Your embies can do this! Best wishes. xxxxxxx

Awww lovely. Please don't be too nervous! I have faith and hope for your eggs/embryos. xxx Looking forward to getting to your stage this round. I am hoping for egg collection next Wednesday.

I always find those five days intensely difficult and I am often breathless with anxiety! You are not alone xx

Also, remember that this is a journey - highs, lows and everything in-between. Just remember your end goal and stay strong x

I can only imagine how difficult it is to keep busy and try and distract yourself and not be anxious just waiting, it’s always hard. Everyone on here will be here if you need any help x

You can do it. . U will look back in 3 weeks and think wow we did it. when my clinic called it didnt show their number so everytime my phone would ring without caller id my heart would stop. The first news was okay. The next call was okish. And we had in the end a blastie to transfer. And i thought u know what if it doesnt stuck i will be back on it just like al the lovelies here that went through a few cycles. Sending love xx
