Can strong cleaning chemicals hinder success rates?

My embryo transfer happened last Tuesday 18th Feb and during that time, I'm trying to keep my mind busy whilst remaining healthy and positive.

Im eating well, having accupuncture, partaking in light yoga and having lots of social time with friends and family.

Yesterday my husband was at work, it was a rainy day so I cleaned the oven (long over due job) and the kitchen floor as it made a mess.

I used standard supermarket cleaning products (none of which were eco friendly) for the oven and floor but I inhaled the fumes from the chemicals. I did open windows but now I'm in panic mode that it was such a silly decision and that potentially this could be harmful and I've risked my success rate as the chemicals are strong.

I know I should have left this as the more sensible option but any support on this would be much appreciated.

Hi lovely, I’m by no means an expert, but from everything I’ve read on environmental toxins, cleaning the oven once isn’t going to jeopardize implantation/pregnancy. We’re under so much pressure to be perfect with our diet/exercise/supplements/etc that a “slip-up” like this can feel worse than it actually is. But don’t beat yourself up! In the long term, it might be a good idea to switch your products to natural ones...if for nothing else than your peace of mind. Sending love ❤️

Your embie is tucked nicely in your uterus so there is no way that breathing those chemicals on a one off occasion would have any impact. Most definitely not xx
