*sensitive post* could crinone make me bleed?

Morning! I am absolutely over the moon as yesterday and today I got clear as day bfps on FRER and digital!! However, twice this week I have had weird sort of spotting. On Tuesday afternoon I went to the toilet and when I wiped (sorry for tmi) there was a big clump of the crinone progesterone cream mixed with fair bit light pink blood and the same happened this morning. I am hoping I have nothing to worry about but with this being my first time getting a bfp - I feel like I am a little anxious!! Could this be the crinone gel just irritating me or should I not get my hopes up right now? Anyone had a similar experience?

I’ve not had similar but it sounds like it could be irritation from the pessaries. Congrats to you and fingers crossed xx

Congratulations on the pregnancy!!! The gel irritating you could make you bleed, but also spotting in early pregnancy generally is super common and a lot of times absolutely nothing to worry about! Try not to worry, but let your clinic know (for your own peace of mind if nothing else). Best wishes. xxx

Thanks so much - I have no other worrying symptoms and it has literally been incidents in 5 days so I'm trying to not worry and will chat to my nurse about it. Thank you for replying!

Hi! Congratulations on your BFP! I also got mine yesterday and started spotting last night. It eased off today but still getting the odd bit. It’s not a lot at all but I was worried. My clinic said it’s very common in early pregnancy and to just contact them if it got worse or I started to proper bleed. They also said that my pessaries could be irritating my cervix too. It’s an anxious time so I know how your feeling. I’m just trying to relax as much as possible, hope you can do the same!xx

And congratulations to you too! I have been doing some mad googling as well and it seems to be really common for the pessaries to cause a pinky looking discharge which sort of lines up with what I've had! Our bodies go through so much in this whole process I sometimes dont know what way is up 😂 feeling more relaxed this evening than I was this morning - I am slowly but surely getting used to the fact this is really really happening though not quite brave enough to use the p word yet!!

Thank you for replying, health to you during your pregnancy xx

Yip totally with you there, I feel like I’m lying when I think about being actually pregnant! It’s ridiculous! 😂 Take care and lets hope our brains settle as well as our spotting!!!xx

Crinone is a nightmare! This is probably tmi but the left overs clump up inside of you...you kind of need to self clean out...perhaps in the shower! The rose colour could be due to implantation spotting. Congratulations on your BFP!xx

Congrats on the BFP

Yes that Crinone is so yuk! golf ball size clumps of residue and it can go some really strange colours including bright peach, pink, reds and even black - lovely huh! X
