**Sensitive post** Update following bleed and viability scan today

Hi All,

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your messages of support and reassurance over the weekend following my episode of cramping and bleeding. You are all amazing and your messages really did help me to remain calm (ish!) and as positive and hopeful as I could be.

I've just had my viability scan this morning and the consultant could not find the source of the bleeding. But he did find two little ones in there, both measuring well and heart beats noted. I absolutely cannot believe it! Although I had a double FET I absolutely wasnt expecting twins at all!!! I am in complete shock.

Its early days, I am resting for a week (no work for me!) and back for another scan in 2 weeks!

I was thinking about you today! That's such amazing news and I am so happy for you! It is so hard to stay calm when you have a wee blip and I'm so pleased that even although you had that it shows that it doesn't mean the worst. Enjoy the happy news and definitely rest and relax. 😊 X

Aww thank you so much. This journey is full of ups and downs but it definitely goes to show that it doesnt always mean the worst! I am smiling from ear to ear, so happy! Will definitely be taking it easy and resting up! Need to line up a few more things to watch on Netflix! 🙈 xx

Ah I'm so glad the extra dose of omeprazole is helping. Its such a relief when those awful symptoms start to improve - you begin to feel human again! xx

Thank you so much. We threw everything at this cycle...had the scratch, changed my meds a little and did a double transfer to up my chances. My consultant wasnt too keen on one of my embryos (was a day 6) so although I knew there was a possibility of twins I thought the chances were quite low and was just praying that 1 stuck!!! xx

I think that’s what we’ll do when the time comes. I can’t fathom being pregnant at all, so having 2 stick seems borderline impossible xx

Fantastic news! I’ve had bleeding and I’m 11 weeks with twins. Sonographer said it is more common with IVF pregnancies and more common with twin pregnancies so a double hit xx

My dr mentioned today it's more common with IVF pregnancies but didnt mention about twin pregnancies so that's good to know. I hope you have a happy and healthy twin pregnancy! xx
