Art appointment

Hi everyone, I have a wee question if anyone could help. I've received my letter with my appointment to go in and have my ART appointment and sign the paperwork. Does anyone know how quickly things move after that appointment? I'm hoping I don't need to wait ages after signing the papers to start treatment . Any advice would be appreciated ❤️

Well after we signed the nurses did a calendar check and ordered up the drugs. Hopefully yours will be quick too . It’ll help if you know your cycle lengths , next start date etc to get the plan down .

All the best pet 🎉💖💐 exciting times

I just feel like it's not happening quick enough ☹️ I'm excited but nervous because I don't know what to expect.

How are you getting on with your treatment? xx

The whole thing is one big wait!🤪

It really needs to be more like the dentist !💖🤣🤣

That’s totally normal . Until you have a date and drugs in your hand it just feels like it’s never happening . 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m done with cycle one , one embryo and a bfn and having my review on 20th. Hopefully starting round two in March 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

It’s all nervous excitement until ya start then it’s nervous nervous excitement mixed with fear and hope and hormones 💖💖💐💐

You will be ok!

Your try is coming 😘💖💐

Take heart ❣

Aw no - fingers crossed for cycle 2 🤞

My art appointment is 24th of March ! Did you start your next cycle from your art appointment? How are you finding the injections?

Sorry about all the questions xx

Yeah , I started about two weeks after because of my cycle dates etc. After you sign the consent forms you are good to go 🤪 I was on menopur injections which were stingy but after I learned to warm up the liquid before I injected it and flicked the site of stab it wasn’t so bad . I didn’t have many symptoms on them until nearly trigger day . No idea what cycle two will mean but probably more injections .

My advice is just get yourself some treats and reward yourself after each one . Once you find out your injections you should ask on this wall and the girls will all lend their tips and advice .

Make a list of questions before you go and ask things like start date and predicted egg collection etc so you have a rough idea of your time scale . I found this was a helpful focus .

You’ll be grand 😘💖💐

Thanks pet 😘 looking forward to hearing your update / start date . Stay positive and be kind to yourself . Top tip : allow yourself! ( allow yourself to skip things, do things later etc etc )
