Hi everyone. I’m currently 5dp5dt today and something was on my mind regarding my medication (or lack of) post transfer. I was instructed to take 8 clicks of the ovitrelle on the evening of transfer as embryo support but no further luteal support has been prescribed for me. I know lots of women are given progesterone supplements in the tww so I was a little worried. I have had sore boobs (worse at night somehow), cramping on and off and the occasional headache (and skin has broken out 😫) so that suggests my body is producing progesterone.
Anyone else had similar treatment protocol or know more that can offer me reassurance? I’m just worried that my lining won’t be able to maintain itself even if little embie has snuggled in.

Hi NS. Obviously clinics have their own ideas about support following transfer. I'm sure your clinic will have given careful thought as to what "you" should be having , so trust them and I hope all works out well for you. As you describe, it does seem as if you are producing progesterone satisfactorily. Good luck! Diane
I’ve heard of it with a natural transfer but not during a medicated round. What does a flare protocol involve? Do you down reg? If not then I can understand them not giving you progesterone support as your natural hormones won’t have been suppressed.
If you are concerned about your progesterone levels you can have them tested to make sure they are high enough, though chances are you’ll have to pay to do so.
I started norethisterone on day 21 of my cycle for 9 days. On the 5th day after stopping I had a single prostap injection and then started gonal f 2 days later. So you’re right, no real downregulation.
