Anyone else felt cold/flu symptoms in 2WW wait

Morning all

I am really struggling - been sick the last couple of day’s now with cold symptoms.

I am now 5 days after transfer and never felt any of these symptoms before but wondering if it’s the cyclogest pessaries?

Any helps would be greatly appreciated

Hi Elle. I have been quite unwell whilst going through IVF previously, but cyclogest mostly just made me moody! Being sick with cold symptoms could be the treatment, could be a sign of pregnancy, or could just be because it's winter (unfortunately). Hope you're feeling better soon (and hope it's a sign of pregnancy). xxx

Thank you so so much for your response xxx yes I just don’t remember feeling this way last time but as you say your body reacts in all different ways. I had Buserelin this time. Back on Cyclogest and I think they definitely have a part to play xx 😘 how are you getting on? I just want this 2WW to be over now it feels like a lifetime ❤️

I'm in a waiting period of my own; waiting for this round to start at the end of February. The wait is driving me crazy, but excited to get going again. There seems to be a lot of waiting in the TTC journey! We will all be skilled at patience at the end of it! (which will be handy for motherhood). Hoping for good news for you at the end of your 2ww.

Hey Ellie, just reading your post I’m on day 3 after egg collection as have started to get cold type symptoms and the smell of meat cooking is turning my stomach ,this is my second round and didn’t feel unwell after before . Are you still having the symptoms and have you don’t your test yet ? Xx

You poor thing I am actually feeling a lot better although still getting these headaches on and off but wonder if it’s the pessaries! OTD is 16th so not long but my god it feels forever but going to be patient. You have got this xx keep me posted ❤️
