Hi, I am un sure at this point after 2 failed cycles of IVF using my own eggs if I want to try again using my own eggs, or give up and accept never being a mother, or re search using a donor egg. Due to finances we cannot try again until Aug/Sep this year. Any advice on good clinics abroad that offer good treatment using DE or other wise would be greatly appreciated. ?. XXX

Hi there, I just came across your thread. Have you heard of PRP ovarian rejuvenation? Also How old are you? It is amazing for woman in their 40s . I did it twice now, and now I am ready to move to ivf because my egg count doubled. It helps with egg quality & quantity. It can also help you respond to the meds better. We’re you a poor responder? I saw you had 10 follicles retrieved that’s a great number also do you know your Inhibin B number? That is an egg quality test. Anyhow PRP may be something you can try before moving to egg donor. Sending comfort and prayers for clarity on next steps.
Hi, we were recommended to a private local clinic in the UK following our one failed NHS attempt. They then recommended we consider a Spainish clinic because we needed donor eggs (only option for me as had it confirmed at 39 that i had gone through menopause early!) & we would have been waiting 2 years plus even privately in the UK (or at least where we live) & Spain undertake the same screening as the UK. Our local clinic frequently link up with both IVI & Instituto Bernabeu (IB) clinics in Spain so they recommended them to us but told us to do our own research and decide which one was for us. We went with the IB clinic in Alicante and following some additional tests were accepted for their pregnancy guarantee programme. In August we had our first round as part of the programme - we had 9 embryos, 6 of which fertilised - I had a single day 5 blastocyst embryo transfer, so we had 4 embryos to freeze. They got us pregnant first go & I'm now 28 weeks pregnant (for info I'm 42 years old). I'd have no hesitation in recommending them. Hope this helps and good luck xx
I’m 6 months pregnant with a donor egg and in hindsight wish I’d gone straight to this. I had two rounds with my own eggs and two donor programme rounds in the UK (all privately funded, didn’t qualify for NHS treatment due to my woefully low AMH) and I can’t recommend it enough.
I may not share DNA with this baby, but it is undoubtedly mine and my partner’s child. Honestly couldn’t recommend this route enough!
We used Institute Bernabeu in Alicante. Good luck - you’ll make the right decision for you. x
agree with Angelbabytwo, mesotherapy treatment or PRP might improve ovarian reserve significantly. I am considering a few IVF clinics abroad, mainly in Poland, as their prices are affordable and they get high success rates. A few friends of mine underwent IVF in Gdansk clinics Invicta, and have been happy with service and results they got. And clinics also do PRP, and as Angelbabytwo mentioned a woman can try it before moving to IVF DE. All the best with your journey x
