Advice on getting successful ivf

Hello

As I said the other day I've started my second round of IVF with a fresh transfer. I really want this round to work and am after advise on things to try to help my round be successful.

Last time I tried acupuncture but cannot afford to do this again, so have signed up to 'Head Space' to help get that relaxing element.

Anything else I should try? Any foods or vitamins I should be taking (apart from folic acid) ?

Thanks

Vikki

Hey,

I am just waiting on starting my second round of IVF, after first round we didn’t get any eggs!

Anything you do will be a positive thing. I really enjoyed reflexology and maya massage; yoga is very good as well as it helps to promote the hormones needed. I think the main thing is stress and keeping it down so what you have said sounds perfect.

I hope it goes well and you have good news xo

Took elevit and paid both times for end o scratch, worked a charm both times for fresh and frozen transfer in 2nd round ivf. Wish u all the best

Hey. I would say totally depends on whether there was a reason it didn’t work the first time-couldn’t see anything in your precious posts. My first ivf didn’t work due to egg quality/quantity so I took over 18 supplements a day to help my 2nd round.

I did acupuncture my first round and it was unsuccessful so I wouldn’t worry too much about it a lot of ladies on here used meditation and apps to help.

Regarding food and diet-I’m really quite unhealthy I used to focus on weight not health but my diet and alcohol intake wasn't the best for both ivf cycles. I didn’t do a lot different in terms of lifestyle for each successful and unsuccessful cycles , apart from medication and supplements.

Good luck xxxx

Best of luck! I will have my second cycle too in a few months. Have you listened to Mindfulness IVF? Regarding supplements, coenzyme 10 is good for egg quality.

I have no idea if it helped but I ate no refined sugar, three meals a day, mo snacks and high protein, low carb diet. I read a couple of research studies that showed this hugely improved success rates. I had a bfp and 2 to freeze from only four eggs collected, so maybe it helped egg quality?

I found acupuncture helpful with relaxation. However you can achieve this via other methods that don't incur the same costs.

Good luck

Hi! I received bioresonance therapy in the past years and it really helped me a lot to dissolve the chocolate cycsts, relieve any pain in my body ( I used to have severe leg and abdominal pain), and even it brought my emotional state to a balance so that, i believe, it helped me improve the hormonal imbalance, too. Somehow, it is a bit costly like acupuncture but i still recommend you go for a few sessions. As a supplement, I recommend chlorella for cleaning body off the impurities and freshly chopped flax seeds. Greetings
