2nd cycle

Hello, we are going ahead with our 2nd cycle in february, i will be having asprin this time as it could help, but not changing anything else as everything went ok last time, apart from not resulting in pregnancy 😔 our consultant as advised the endometrium scratch if we want to go ahead with it, as anyone done this? I have read online its a waste of time and a money making thing, plus very painful, as anyone done this, and thought it has helped them get pregnant?

I haven’t had a scratch but I have been told by two clinics they are a waste of time and that most recent research shows they don’t offer any benefit. The new clinic we just moved to doesn’t even offer them.

Are you doing a fresh cycle or a frozen one?

Fresh cycle again, i dont think i will bother then, thanks, ive read its a waste of time as well and can be painful x

Hi Toniloux. Looks like we might be cycling around the same time as you again! I’ve had a scratch. Didn’t find it too painful (just had some paracetamol beforehand and was ok). Unfortunately it didn’t work for us, but that could have been due to other factors. Our new clinic says it’s a waste of money so we didn’t bother on our last round. We are undecided whether to bother next time. Part of me is thinking it’s a wast of money. But the other part is thinking it’s our final try with my own eggs (before moving to DE) so why not throw everything at it! xx

Hello again 🙂 not been on here for a while! I agree i suppose theres no harm in trying, this is our last go now we are doing everything the same as well, plus having the asprin .. fingers crossed for you really hope this is the one for you! It gets so hard doesn't it. I have just put it to the back of my mind till now, not that long to go now before we do it again xx

Ive had a couple of scratches done and not sure if it was worth it, didnt help me. They are painful but over quickly. Good luck with what you decide. Im quite a believer in prednisolone, a gentle steriod in case of NK cells but not all clinics allow this. Ive had heaps of 4xBFN and got 2xBFP after insisting on trying this - sadly they didnt progress well. I must admit we got another BFN following that so defo no the answer to all....luck has lots to do with it too! Best of luck to you.xx

Ah thank you, i might mention that prednisolone then, you never know, its so hard and i agree its def got alot to do with luck too, fingers crossed for you hope you get another BFP xx
