Hello all

Did my second test last Friday and it was positive again!! All good bleeding had stopped but yesterday there was a bit of pain and I got done bright red blood again!!! I can notice it is stopping now!!

Did any of you experience something like this!? My clinic suggested going and doing two blood tests but is quite far and they want me to go twice!! I could also carry on with my medication and do another pregnancy test in a phew days!

This is a nightmare I cannot get happy with my positive test!! Why do I keep bleeding!? My mum has come over to visit for Christmas and I do not dare to say anything just in case all goes bad and I would spoil her Christmas!

I still have to wait till the 28th now to have my scan but it feels like ages away!!

Any encouraging words or advice!?!

Aww is just so stressful isn't it! But you really need to go and get those two hcg blood tests and make sure they are 48 hours apart. This is because a"normal" pregnancy will have the hcg numbers double over those 48 hours. It will give you a clearer answer as to whether things are going well or if it may be an early loss. Lots of women have bluffing during early pregnancy so it may be nothing to worry about. You won't know until you get your blood test results xx

I would recommend that you have the 2 blood tests, its the only reassurance that you have for now. Its usualy done 48hrs apart to check they are rising at the expected rate of doubling every 48-72hrs. This is stressful in itself but peeing on sticks doesnt really tell you much from one day to another. The only thing I would say is your test lines do look good and Ive seen other ladies bleed on here and its all been ok. Good luck & congratulations.xx

Thank you I just contact my clinic to get it arranged!!

I had early bleeding a number of times when I was pregnant, then I continued to spot through the whole of the first trimester with almost daily spotting. I have a very healthy happy 4 year old, so everyone is different.

Please go and get the blood test so you can reassure yourself one way or another.

Good luck x

Hi Ariel. Hopefully all this is just down to your womb settling down after manipulation. Just keep up with any prescribed medication and have a rest when you can. See if you can get the Beta hCG blood test done for peace of mind. Maybe your GP could help out here - worth asking. Thinking of you. Diane
