So ladies, I haven’t been on this forum for a while for many reasons - but as I was feeling elated today I wanted to write this post for anyone who has doubted going down the donor route.

Even though this transfer may not work- I’m so excited ( it’s been a long road) to now have the hope that in 9 days I could have a positive test. If it doesn’t work, the clinic said each time we try again the percentage rate goes up. We have 5 left frozen! So luckily I don’t feel like there is too much pressure with this one working as much as I would love that Christmas gift! I am so grateful for the amazing women who are donors out there and just wish I had come to this decision sooner as I’m so excited for this.

I am in Greece right know and could not fault my clinic - so if anyone needs a recommendation then please pm me - I got the recommendation from this forum myself.

I’m not going to do any of the ‘ pineapple is supposed to help’ or that stuff- if it’s meant to be it’s meant to be! - but I also won’t do anything silly - no alcohol, heavy lifting , excessive exercise etc !

Yes a bit less pressure- so might not be feeling as relaxed come transfer 3/4 or 5!

Any idea when you will transfer?

Yes definitely. Yes I know what you mean. I’m not sure yet. Today is day 1, and they said they’ll ring me tomorrow and hopefully tell me a day. It’s all new to me so I’m really learning a lot as I go along xx

Gosh yes it’s a rollercoaster ride to get to day 3 or 5. Every day you are on edge. You having an FET or fresh transfer? Yes it’s a huge learning curve and definitely character building! Fingers crossed for great news for you this week. Keep us posted. X

Yes it’s only day one, and I was so panicky and anxious before the call. Can’t imagine what I’ll be like in a couple of days haha 🤣 As far as I know a fresh transfer. Fingers crossed for great news for you too 😊 I will do xx

Thank you and to you too! Spotting I know can be scary. Have you told your clinic? Mine told me to tell them and describe what it is- it could be implantation bleeding - or they may need to alter your meds- so make sure you tell them. Let us know. Xx

Ah thanks for your good wishes Cinders....actually leaving today and it’s sunny but for the rest of the time it was raining! But it didn’t matter it made me stay in and watch lots of Netflix and rest -which I never get a chance to do! Hope you are ok?
