7dp5dt - 3rd attempt - I swear these are period pains??

Had FET of 2 blastocysts a week ago today.

Feel like I've had 'trapped wind' pain all week and now period pains. Am I reading into it too much? or is it a sign of failure? or even side effects from 3 cyclogest a day!

Not testing til Friday... should I test before??

This sounds exactly like the symptoms I had. Worst period pains ever, now I know it was probably implantation pains. So if there is no bleeding don't loose any hope. Good luck 🤞🤞💕💕

They're not awful, it just feels like trapped wind which is gross, so I'm thinking is it just the bloody cyclogest!!

You've done really well not to test early. I test really early but some day they prefer not to as the disappointment is often too hard if they get a bfn. I do think the cramping is a good sign though!! With a day 5 blastocyst it'll start to secrete hCG hormone by 6fp5dt...so maybe test tomorrow up till your otd

I'd love to test early.... but ridiculous as it sounds, I haven't because I hate my job SO much that I don't think I could bear testing, getting a bfn then facing the rest of the week miserable at work. At least if I test friday, I know it's the weekend coming up! And also.. after 3 rounds and no money left, I don't think I'm ready for the answer!

I had similar at 6dp5dt on my third transfer. I’d not had it in my previous cycles and got my first ever bfp.

I’m the same with testing, couldn’t bare being in work after. Sending you all the luck! Xx

Sounds like we are cycle buddies I had my transfer on Monday last week so think that makes me 8dp5dt!

oh really, are we day 8?? I don't understand all this lingo, I assumed I was day 7. It took me long enough to work out how to type it as the little 7dp5dt code!! I swear you all have a guide book on the fertility language that I'm not privy to.

Any symptoms for you??

Oh perhaps not it’s probably 7 as we should count from the next day! I have no idea too dong worry I had to google the right was of writing it too

Hmmm nothing that feels it!! Back aches and a bit of contsipation or bad tummy which is like before my period! Xx

I had trapped wind pain and then 7dp5dt I got what felt very similar to period pain but a bit lower down and then I was cramping all day 8dp5dt and thought that I may be out...I wasn’t! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thank you. But the more I think about it, the more I'm not convinced it's just side effects of the cyclogest and don't want to get my hopes up! X

Yeah that was exactly my thinking at the time. I clung onto anything to keep my hopes up though and looking back I feel it was more of an indication I was pregnant rather than the cyclogest. Fingers crossed for you! Xx

I had 2 - 5 day blastocysts transferred last Monday from a fresh cycle. I have been getting pain as well but I am putting it down to the 2 crinone a day plus I'm having 2 progesterone injections a week. However, I started taking it a week before transfer but my symptoms got a lot worse after transfer...but is this just the build up of progesterone!? I am also getting very bloated by the evening. My clinic said to test on Monday 9th which seams an age to wait...so going to test Saturday!

Hi lovely, I don’t want to dampen your thoughts but try not to trust symptoms. The drugs do all kinds of things and play tricks on your mind. Just trust your body is doing the best it can and try to relax xx

Hi my second cycle I had I was having strong like period pain and in a morning on my test day I thought I’m gonna have a period but turn up I had positive test ...my baby girl is now 2.5 years old . Don’t test early I didn’t . Wait till Friday hun . Fingers crossed xx

I had two days at 8dp5dt of really trapped wind, and some not so trapped! I was so sure my period was coming due to the slight pains. It still hasn’t arrived and I’m 5w4days now I had to test a day early because I couldn’t cope waiting for my period to arrive. Sounds good to me xx
