Has anyone had a BFN 8 days after blastocyst embryo transfer, I went abroad for treatment had transfer 19/11/19 & was told to do my blood test today 27/11/19 I’ve seen posts were people are being advise 10-14 days later. I was diagnosed with POF @ 31yr old, does anyone know if this is the reason why I can test early is it because I’ve been through menopause? I take oral & pesseries! I know it’s been to early but I’ve tested everyday since transfer and always negative. I don’t hold out much hope for the bloods
Just wondered if anyone been in-similar situation, it’s my first attempt at receiving egg donor
Thanks

hey! How are you doing over there in the two week wait? It is a bloody tough slog! Anyway, pof won’t affect your results. What could affect your results though are what kind of tests you are using... first response early are the most sensitive which is important at 8 days past? Are you still getting your bloods today? That will give you a definitive answer. Best of luck. Xxxx
Yes I did my bloods today, I’ve used clear blue digital and some cheaper brands at the local supermarket I’ve also used ones at work (hospital) 🤯 a Fair few!
I just wondered if I’m doing bloods at 8 days was because of POF as people seem to be doing bloods 10 days and after, or is it including the time of blastocyst which then takes it to 13 day’s?
I haven’t tested today I am just going to wait for bloods
I read on internet that implantation can be anything up to 8 days post transfer, so hormones would be secreted after this?
Its still pretty early for testing at 8 days especially with urine. My clinic abroad usually test with bloods around day 9 post a 5 day transfer. Its not anything to do with POF. Best of luck for your results.xx
