Wanted to introduce our miracle Florence Mary Tarr 5lb 5 ounces... our 4th embryo transfer !! Pregnancy has been hell after developing a rare condition call Placenta Accrete!
I gave birth yesterday and the surgery was intense. I’ve never seen so many people, there were 6 different consultants and 15 people involved all together. It was like something off a sci fi film I had wires and drips everywhere, two in each arm, my legs, then some in my arteries. I was like a robot 🙈 then I was an hour putting the balloons in my groin. It was so scary, all my blood and machines on standby for haemorrhage, took them about 2 hours to put everything in me. They put me too sleep. Baby came out in about 10’minutes. Then they removed my placenta! All of that and I lossed less than a can of Coke of blood 😂 couldn’t believe it ‘ neither could all the staff. It was a miracle. They left my womb all fine. I’ve got a vertical incision so got an epidural for a few days but, all that and I lost 250mls of blood !!! I had to go to the high dependency unit for the night for monitoring but it was all fine !

My goodness! You sure had a stressful labour but well done you!! You did it! You're so brave and determined and now you're rewarded with your precious daughter! May you heal well and enjoy every moment with her. Congratulations mummy 💓👶
Congratulations!! Gosh what a warrior you are!!! So glad to hear everything is ok 😁 Ivf is hard but personally I have found pregnancy harder and that's without such a serious medical condition. I have a 20mth old ivf miracle who took nearly 6yrs to conceive and am now 30wks pregnant with ivf miracle twins!! For all we go through it's so worth it in the end. I would say enjoy every moment...but that's impossible. Mummahood is such hard work, but every bit as rewarding too (says a mama who hasn't slept for 3 nights due to a sick child!) I still feel lucky to have this opportunity though.

Oh babe that’s such an amazing result after all that worrying!! Beautiful name for a beautiful girl I am beyond happy for you both! I lost 800ml and I had a fairly straightforward c section 😂 not sure if you’ve chosen to breastfeed or bottle feed but if breastfeeding just be aware blood loss can make your milk take a little longer to come in properly. Hope you can get home soon to enjoy some time as a family before the inevitable influx of visitors xxxxx

I had to google your condition and goodness what a frightening diagnosis for you, you’re an absolute trooper having got through this pregnancy. I’m so relieve baby arrived safe and sound and also that your surgery went so well! And no hysterectomy that’s fantastic!! I hope the recovery goes as smoothly as the surgery itself.
