This is my first time writing in this group. I went to see my gynae last week about a possible other cyst (I've had previous ones) and to discuss ivf and we are starting ASAP.
Yesterday I had my day 21 appointment and got given my meds; I did my first injections of buserelin last night which was quite scary. I also had acupuncture last night to work alongside my IVF. Then today I've had my flu jab and a Scratch, safe to say I'm feeling a little sore and pretty exhausted... thank god its half term and I can rest.
When I go back to work on Monday (I'm a teacher on half term) I have to decide if I'm going to tell my head teacher what is going on or just cite gynaecological problems. My school are not the most understanding and have been difficult in the past when I had to had an operation to get rid of my cysts, polyps and endometriosis.
Any advise would be much appreciated. 😁

Hi MiskyB, just wanted to pop by and say hi 👋. Hope you’ve managed to rest up? Sorry I don’t have any advise with what to tell your head teacher but hope all goes well xx
Hi MiskyB. Always a difficult decision speaking to the Head. I think I would go with the gynae problems just for now,but he/she will have to know soon what you are going through. Maybe get it over with, I don't know, but when you decide, make sure it is in confidence. Thinking of you. Diane
Thanks, luckily I haven't had to say anything today just said I had an appointment and they didn't ask for more. I guess after my baseline when I have more tests I might have to say a bit more
