Dual trigger - what was your winning combination?

Hello everyone!

I am preparing for my third cycle, but this time with a sperm donor. So anxious already.

My two previous cycles resulted in 50% immature eggs (only 6 eggs out of 12 collected were mature enough to use).

My doctor recommended a dual trigger of Ovitrelle and Gonapeptyl, but I heard suprefact is better from another doctor...

Any disasters or success stories on a double trigger? Please let me know your winning combination!

Hi Anna. Yes, my last round I had a double trigger shot. As like yourself the round before I had a lot of immature eggs.

And good news... it worked. I used 2 Ovitrelle as my trigger shot. They collected 10 eggs and this time ALL were matured. 8 fertilized and I got for the first time ever 5 blastocysts that all went to freeze as we wanted to work on building a nice thick lining for transfer.

For me double trigger shot was the answer 👍👍 good luck 🍀

I did a double trigger of Ovitrelle and Suprefact. I got 10 eggs, 9 of which were mature but then had a crap fertilisation rate because I should have had ICSI rather than IVF...but one made it and I’m 13 weeks pregnant with it.

Ask your dr why they want the other one, unless they have a good reason then I’d ask them to swap if you feel strongly about it. Good luck xx
