What trigger drug you are using?

Hi ladies,

I was researching on trigger drugs. So far, I was prescribed Gonasi. I read some negative points about it and I was wondering whether any of you was prescribed a different drug, e.g buserelin or something else.

I would like to get some idea of alternatives before I speak to my consultant.

Hi Lilly, I used suprecur for my first and gonasi for my second. Suprecur was far more successful. It hadn’t occurred to me that they would be different but it turns out that I needed more gonasi than they prescribed. Definitely chat it through with them first xx

Thank you for replying. Could you let me know how much suprecur you took and what was the difference between the cycles? Did you get more eggs or more fertilisation from suprecur? Or something else? Xx

It was 1ml of suprecur and 10,000 gonasi. The suprecur cycle we got 18 eggs, gonasi just 6 because the trigger wasn’t strong enough so they didn’t release. If we do another round they would prescribe 15,000 gonasi xx

Hi used gonsai 10000 ( double dose) I found it great..well it worked anyway! The injection site hurt abit for a couple of days after xx

I had Ovitrelle on my first and second cycle. Double Ovitrelle on my third as a double trigger. Fourth I had Gonasi and Suprecur as a double trigger x

If I remember rightly I was supposed to use gonasi 5000, but ended up using a buserelin trigger due to ohss. It was a freeze all round. No problems with it, in my case anyway. X

I used ovitrelle 250g and it worked first time. All eggs were retrieved. Wish you all the best.

Mondays follicle scan showed 16 follicles my trigger shot was on Monday night 10,000 gonasi and they collected 15 eggs today x

I used Gonasi, it worked great for me and they got 31 eggs. The only problem we had was with administering the injection itself x
