We are going into our very last attempt, which is super scary. I think previously, as much as we were devastated each time, we always had that little voice saying ‘maybe next time...’ however this time there is no next time. We are down to our last frosty (only our second frosty in 6 attempts and the last did not defrost well, so that is stressful too).
So my question is after all these fails... does anyone have anything that they swear by for creating a great lining?!? I’m willing to throw it all at it for this last attempt...
Baby dust sprinkles to all doing it tough xx

The pressure must feel immense. Have you done an ERA? Maybe consider this this cycle before doing the transfer just to ensure you're transferring at the right time?? With so much riding on this you might as well double check everything is in place before transferring it xx
No problem. It's when you have an endometrial biopsy of your uterus lining to test if you are receptive to the transfer or not. Endometrial Receptivity Assay (ERA). Many women need extra days or hours of progesterone before they do a transfer and this test pin points exactly how many hours you need so you don't waste a precious embryo transferring at the wrong time.
The process involves going through the exact same steps you would do for a transfer, doing all the drugs, scans etc and on the day your Dr would do the FET instead of actually transferring anything he'll do the biopsy. Then he'll send that away and have it tested. You should also include the Alice & Emma tests which just treat the same biopsy tissue to check your uterus had enough good bacteria (Alice) and that it doesn't have any bad bacteria/ infection (Emma). Alice is treated with a course of vaginal probioticsand Emma with a course of antibiotics.
Obviously this delays your FET by a cycle because you must wait for the results and then start the fet process again but boy is it worth it to save precious embryos!
I wish I had done it in my last FET which failed (chemical) because according to my ERA results I should have delayed transfer for 12 extra hours (yep it can make a big difference) and I had a low count of good bacteria present so need a short course of vaginal probiotics.
If you've already started the FET process maybe beg your Dr to do an ERA/Alice/Emma test instead of the transfer? Best of luck xx
Yes - viagra, injection, patches - my lining went from 7mm to 12mm x
Wishing you so much luck xx were about to start our final cycle too shortly and I'm not going to lie I'm petrified but hopeful xx I felt exactly how you did with our last 2 mc that there was always next time but this time this is going to be it xx
Best of luck! I can offer the same advice, keep yourself nice and healthy and some nutrition tips which worked for me - reduce added sugar and get lots of healthy fats from salmon, coconut oil, avocados, nuts, eggs throughout the process. The food we eat is at the heart of our health and can help support the IVF process x
Wether you go for a stimulated cycle with lots of testing or you will have your FET in a natural cycle, make sure you'll get a prescription for decent progesterone support!
All the best, keep yourself nice and healthy and if i can offer some nutritional support - reduce added sugar and get lots of healthy fats from salmon, coconut oil, avocados, nuts, eggs throughout the process. Fingers tightly crossed for you x
I offer nutrition profiling, supporting women with the best chances of successful IVF and conception. Here for you if you are interested to know more x
