So scared...

I've been for my second scan today. Monday I had 8 follicles 7-11mm. (first cycle I had 18). Today, second scan only 9 follicles (7-14mm). Told me I'm likely to walk away with just 6. First cycle I lost 15 of 18 eggs. This cycle I'm scared if only 50% of 6 fertilise, I may end up with zilch to freeze this time. Sick of this rollercoaster. 😢

I know its a real up and down process (hugs) but focus on the positives.. maybe less eggs means better quality.. I seem to remember you have changed your protocol?

In my experience numbers isn't always everything, and maybe with less eggs your body can channel more good stuff into the ones you have - rather than the good stuff being spread thinly. So it might actually be a good thing.

Thank you daisy1245. Yes I changed protocol. I think my fear is born out of losing so many last time. I'm still praying I get at least 12 by Monday. Predicted EC is weds x

Hey, I went from having 24 follicles, 16 collected, 9 matureaand only 3 fertilised, but all 3 survived, bfp from the first but lost it but currently 10+6 with the second ❤️ I know exactly how you feel, but it can work xxxxx

I’m sorry don’t be scared. It’s so hard though. To try and give you hope I have about 16 follicles.

6 eggs collected only 4 mature and all 4 fertilized against the odds so try and keep faith cx
