Starting Natural IVF feeling nervous.

Hey 🙂 I’m new to this board and haven’t ever posted just been a reader so far 😬 I am starting Natural IVF next week (due to age and low AMH), although the meds doses are a lot lower than conventional IVF I am still super nervous about injecting and any side effects. Any words of encouragement or advice appreciated 🙏🏻🥰

Hey. I was terrified of injecting but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Get an ice pack on the area for a couple of minutes before and it makes it loads better.

I didn’t have any notable side effects from the injections, a little bloated but nothing that bad.

Thanks for your response, I think I’m just being a baby, I’m sure the anticipation of starting is probably the worst part. It’s good to hear from others that have been through it already. Wishing you luck too xxx

Hi! If you don’t mind can I ask what natural IVF is? I found the injections probably the easiest bit during my IVF rounds. I did suffer from side effects though, but I used to get side effects from the contraceptive pill. I think my body just doesn’t take to well to extra hormones! But injection wise I found them pretty simple and once you are over the hurdle of the first one they become just routine and no big deal. Good luck with your cycle!

We are with Create in London who specialise in modified or natural modified IVF for women with low AMH or ladies that don’t want to use as many IVF drugs. We are working with my natural cycle (so no down reg meds) We will start injections at the beginning of a new cycle and for only a minimum amount of days, the idea is to concentrate on quality rather than quantity of eggs. So we might only get a few but the idea behind it is that the quality will be better. They have a great informative website with loads of info.

Thanks for the injection reassurance, I’m not too worried about the pre loaded pens to inject but the one where you have to mix it up and put the needle on....Eeeek I’m not too sure about that one 😬 xx
