So I got my BFP 2 weeks ago and have been on cloud 9 since but still doesn’t feel real. I’m going for my scan on Wednesday but I’m worried it’s going to be bad news I have no symptoms that I think I should have. My only feeling is eating I can only eat small portions compared to usual. Has anyone else felt the same?

Symptoms
Hey hun, symptoms will come and go all the time. I’ve worried myself over this so many time. I’ve had private scans too reassure me. I didn’t start getting any real nausea until 7 weeks ish but before this I was off my evening meal but ok other than that. Also everyone is different. The only thing that I found help ease anxiety was all the scans 🙈 xx
Thank you makes me feel a bit more at ease, yeah I’m hungry during the day but when it comes to dinner time I can only eat a few bites and then I’m full. I wanted to book a private scan but my cousin did this at the start of her pregnancy from 6 weeks till 12 every week and I swore I wouldn’t do that so just going to try and hold out to Wednesday xx
Ah it’s so hard to not symptom predict. No symptoms is normal too so just hang in there, you’re doing great!
As for the scan if you want one then have one. I thought other people were crazy but I had my 7 week one and then one at 8 and a half weeks after bleeding and my NHS scan isn’t until 13 weeks so I’m having a 12 week private one too so we can tell our families.
I know it’s excessive and I’m usually a calm and reasonable person but I think I deserve it after all our fertility woes.
Do what’s right for you 😊 x
Hey, I had nothing until about 6 weeks xx
Congratulations on getting pregnant, I'm so happy for it! I personally find all success story very inspiring especially when it comes from someone from among the forum. Which means it's a success achieved after a tug-war with all the odds of infertility.... needless to mention gives me hope. Why do you doubt your pregnancy? You just got your BFP then is there anything that might indicate anything otherwise? Having no symptoms cannot be concluded as a pregnancy threat at all. You see just like the reception of medication, the symptoms are also person-specific... so while some get too many symptoms of pregnancy some may not even get a twitch. The symptoms can appear and disappear several times during the whole duration of gestation. I guess the scan will show everything is alright. Good Luck!
Hello very happy to hear about your positive news. I got my positive pregnancy test on the 2nd October and I didn’t feel any symptoms other than eating a lot. I was worried so I did a pregnancy test using clear blue and my test had changed from 2weeks to 3 weeks plus and that gave me assurance that the baby is growing. So it wasn’t growing it would stay at 2 weeks. So hang in there and try to enjoy it and love yourself. Sometimes I also can’t believe I have a beautiful soul growing in me. Good luck
Thank you. Congratulations. I did another clear blue but just the normal one this time so that I can keep in my memory box. I know I’m so nervous about it all but I’ve only 2 more days to wait. I hope all is well with you xx
Awwwh that’s great to know I am I have mixed feelings my scan is next week and it feels really long. I can’t wait
I know I feel the same I couldn’t wait on the letter coming in I phoned the hospital to find out when my appointment was seems we tested 2 days apart,
Yes we did. Fingers crossed all will be well for us. We deserve all the happiness and nothing will stop us from attaining it.
I’m 33 weeks pregnant and it still doesn’t feel real! Lol but enjoy the symptom free stages, I had no symptoms till I was 10 weeks and unfortunately morning sickness has now followed me all the way through
