Best day for FSH & LH tests

Hi there, I'm new here, so thanks in advance for all the info shared!

Could you let me know what the best day for the FSH & LH tests would be please? Private clinics say day 3, but the NHS insists on day 4-_... and well, I want to make sure I get the best result possible! (As mentioned, I'm new here, so forgive me if my question is dumb!!) [I'm a 40 year old woman trying to fall pregnant via IVF in the next couple months]

These are usually beest performed on day 3, I cant see much difference between day 3 and 4 to be fair. Not why the NHS insist on day 4 but like I said the results wont be much different. Good luck.xx
