How do you manage life after embryo transfer

Hello every one

Sorry for posting again

But I just had a very basic question

I wanted to know how you all manage your life after embryo transfer

I know many women here must be working women for which you have to travel and walk

House work is another issue

Many of us dnt have anyone with the daily house hold chores such cleaning and cooking which means you have to do a lot bending getting up from the floor

I am not working right now

But I really can’t avoid the daily chores

Offcourse my husband helps with washing the utensils everyday

But does this interfere with the implantation process

And I can’t do without warm showers which takes me a long time to finish

I really feel guilty for having long showers

But it’s getting cold here

And another question for which I am sorry

I got very weird dreams, sexual dreams which make me really excited

Does this happen with you all too

Rest of the days I never have such dreams

Is it because of the drugs we take

How do you all manage this

Thank you

Hello there,

There's absolutely nothing wrong with you carrying on with your daily tasks after Embryo transfer. The embryo is safely snuggling into your uterus and so cannot 'fall out'. I will advise you reduce bending and cleaning the floor though just so you don't stress yourself and in turn, stress the embryo.

Long showers are fine, the only thing they advise against is having a bath. Warm showers are absolutely fine. I didn't stop my twice a day showers the weeks after my embryo transfer and it did not affect the embryo.

Lastly, just try to relax and not overthink things (i know this is hard), carry on with your normal daily activities as much as you can and stay positive. Wishing you all the best x

Thank you dear

I am so relieved

Thank fully my husband helps me with lot of house cleaning

It’s just that I am thinking too much

But I will try to relax as much as I can

And the only way I can do that is just sleep which makes me forget everything

By the way did you get your BFP

Pls take care of your self

Wishing you the best 😊
