About to start my first round, age 43. Trying to work out the balance between hoping it will work and accepting it might not.

If you went through IVF, how many rounds did you have?

Hi! I had DE IVF last end of July with 2 embryos (3 day transfer) and I'm currently 11 weeks and 4 days pregnant with one. I'm 36.

Hi, we were lucky enough to have 1 DE IVF round of the NHS but that was unsuccessful (& no embryos to freeze). We then went to Spain and got accepted on a pregnancy guarantee programme - first round there (so second overall) and I'm now 11.5 weeks pregnant. We have 12 wk scan next week, fingers crossed all still ok (following great 6 wk scan). I'm 42. Wishing you the very best of luck x

I did 4 rounds of ivf with my own eggs which resulted in 2 bfn and 2 rounds I misscarried. I then went to Greece using DE and fell pregnant straight away and my son is 2 this month.. I had 4 embryos donated, used 2 and 2 in freezer. My Bertie is just amazing and a gorgeous boy. I also must say I was happier with the treatment abroad. I was 41 when my son was born.

Wishing you all the very best of luck xxx

DE cycle worked 1st time for us. Non-proven donor. It was a shared cycle and the other couple also got pregnant first try. Great chances with DE!! I am 41.
