Hi ☺ currently waiting for my 1st natural bleed since our abandoned 1st cycle.
The nurse said I would get a withdrawal bleed after coming off the progesterone which I have had, which weirdly came when I would have normally got my period.
I am hoping I will be on my normal 28 days but does anyone know with being on all the drugs does it take longer or shorter than normal?
I guess everyone is different?
I've read for some it took 45 days 🙈 feeling very impatient as the clinic wont book us in for our 2nd round until it starts.
Thanks x

I am normally 28 days but after my egg retrieval my withdrawal bleed actually came whilst I was still using progesterone and it was a week early and then my natural bleed after this was 35 days... so I was 21 day cycle followed by a 35 day cycle... everyone is different but don’t worry if it is quite early / late...x
Thanks for your reply ☺ you're right everybody is different, I guess I'm just desperate for it to come 😬 but your body does what it wants doesn't it, it will come when it's ready, thanks x
I was the same... I was desperate for this natural bleed as we are having a FET and needed this to happen to start so when it was a week ‘late’ I was getting anxious... it absolutely will just come when it’s ready x
Hi Italy. On average it takes up to two cycles for your period to return to what is normal for you. However, this is not set in stone, so should you take longer, then see your doctor/clinic for further advice. Diane
