Advice Needed if possible ...

I sadly miscarried in July, and had my 1st period around 2 weeks after this (wasn't overly painful or heavy - just lasted a little longer than normal). I was due my period on 31-08-2019 (5 days ago). My period didn't arrive so I took a test that day, NEGATIVE ... it still hadn't arrived a day later so re-tested - NEGATIVE - again by the Tuesday it still hadn't shown up so once again I tested - NEGATIVE ... I am now on day 5 (it's also my Birthday) and I have still yet to have my period! I don't want to keep testing and getting negatives as it's hard after a miscarriage ... anyone else have similar problems after a miscarriage? Is this normal? xx

Hi Adele, sorry to hear about your loss. Your cycle can be thrown out of rhythm after a miscarriage. I think I didn't have one for about six weeks after my first. Try not to worry about it, it should settle down again, but if it doesn't after two or three cycles you could discuss with your doctor. Hope you can relax and enjoy your birthday. X

Thank You Weeginger x I'm more irritated than anything as I want a few normal cycles before trying again x I will leave it a while longer and see how it goes x Thank You for taking the time to read and reply to my post xx
