Hi, sorry if this is a TMI or sensitive question but I've been given no advice by clinic but have read conflicting advicce online. Is it safe to use tampons during miscarriage bleed? I need to go out tonight unfortunately and I don't feel confident with just the pad as bleeding is quite heavy xo

I was told you use pads only, as tampons increase the risk of infection xxx

Thank you xo

Yes definitely pads only. Xx

I was told it's pads only as well and the old fashioned ones with the belts are comfy and you get them in the big boots shops.

could use the period cup which is a compromise?

I was advised to only use pads because of the risk of infection. So sorry you are going through this 😢xxx
