So yesterday I had my first 2day fresh transfer. On the previous 4 cycles my eggs haven’t been good enough to make blast so they decided fresh this time. I’m 43 and I know it’s a long long shot but looking for stories from others who might have had similar experiences with/without positive outcome. This 2ww is going to be a killer! 😐

Fresh 2day transfer @43 - any positive stories?
Hello.... welcome to the 2ww it is long and has its ups and downs but eventually it will speed up toward the end and you will want it to slow down ....at least that is what I am like 😂
So is this your first transfer? I am 43 and at 3 days there were 2 good quality embryos 6-8 cells. We just put them in instead of risking losing them. We grew the rest to 5 days but they never made it. I Defo think it’s an age thing 😕. If it is any comfort when I was 39 & 42 each time I had 1 frozen and transferred they did not work. They were both top grade.
If you look at my bio you will see I have more luck with fresh than with frozen.
I personally feel it helps putting the embryos back in ASAP into their natural environment.
My OTD is Tuesday. I have had mild cramping, backache, sore boobs, up n down moods, emotional, up peeing through night.... hoping all good signs but also know can be side effects of progesterone so it really is a bit of a head f**k.
Wishing you lots of luck and hoping my ramblings are of some help x
Im 35 and got pregnant through a sperm donation treatment abroad, i was so anxious during the 2ww but i just made sure i was surrounded by people who showed me nothing but love and support! my prayers are with you! hoping for the best! where are you getting your treatment?
Hi Travel, I’m exactly the same as you, had a two day transfer yesterday and I’m 42. With me they only got two eggs and only one fertilised so hoping this was my golden egg! Wish you lots of luck x
Hey lady. I'm 43 and OTD is tomorrow. We put back in 4 3 dayers. Not been able to make any to blastocyst previously. All my home tests have been negative so not holding out much hope but trying to stay upbeat xx
