Starting to stress out. Only just discovered my 3 cycle package expires 1 year from purchase. It's taken me 6 months to even get to my 1st transfer. If it transfer my next embryos in 2-3 months time (following my BFN yesterday), that leaves only 3 months to start cycle 2, meaning I'd never actually reach cycle 3!
Anyone else experienced this?
How can this be?
12 months seems unreasonable for 3 full cycles
They're meant to be back to back retrievals to bank as many viable blastocysts as you can. Then you go ahead with the transfers after.

Is this with access? Mine doesn’t have a time limit but I have to pay storage for frozen embryos after a year and I think I can have a maximum of 6 months between cycles/transfers. One year isn’t long at all for a 3 cycle package! X
Who is this with? I’m with Access and like Aprilmama I don’t have a time limit. I have to use all frozen embryos before I can move on to the next cycle x
It's with crgw. I'm mortified. If it is back to back stimulation that's some sh*t to put your body through. I've emailed them to clarify having already paid them £7k. My first cycle was so long as I developed OHSS. I was on long protocol too. Took an eternity to get to FET. Starting to lose hope x
It sounds like you have been completely missold this package! You definitely should contact them and see what they propose to do about it. Try not to lose hope yet xx
I hope your clinic is dif to mine. My clinic doesn't like to offer packages but said I could have a 3 cycle package. I'd seen plenty of other clinics advertise it but when I looked into it more I discovered that I needed to do all the retrievals first before any transfers. I'd never done ivf before and didn't know how my body would react and our plan was to get them pgs tested. The clinic said we needed to decide before the first round whether we wanted to have the package or not which was really frustrating because we didn't want to pay for 3 cycles (minus a tiny package discount) if we didn't need them. In the end we decided not to get the package and so far I'm glad we didn't as we got 6 pgs normal embryos. Who knows if they'll work though...guess it doesn't make sense banking dozens of embryos unnecessarily so I'm surprised that's how my clinic offered it to us. Call yours to find out
I bought a 3 package with Create that was meant to be done in 6 months, but it took me over a year due to sometimes having cysts and I had a couple of natural chemical pregnancies in between. They never even mentioned the time restriction and seemed happy to just go with when my body co-operates, you may find crgw are the same?
Jessy1280 I’m with crgw and we paid for a 3package iui I had first failed attempt last month I’m due back there Thursday for a follow up and more consent forms to go again .When we seen consultant we were told the package had to be used with in a year but I’m bearing in mind we only paid for the package when o booked my first baseline scan which was in June when I started a period .Im not sure with ivf but I think it’s a bit shitty putting a time on ivf treatment because you simply don’t know how your body is gonna react I’d go and see them or ring the clinic but I hope they put you at ease that’s a lot of money to fork out and then feel pressured to use them within a year when your body and mind goes through so much good luck darling xx

I paid for mine 14/3/19. I developed OHSS in May and to freeze all. I was devastated I couldn't go ahead with transfer and had to wait til July for first transfer. Even though I've 2 embryos left, think I've no choice but to start cycle 2 because of time constraints. 😔. Waiting for the clinic to clarify as I was never told of the time limit x
I don’t know what to suggest darling apart from next appointment just ask the consultant it’s your body and your package you shouldn’t be rushed it’s gonna cause you more upset and as we all know as women our bodies pick up on every little ounce of stress if your cycle didn’t start till when you said then that should mark the starting date in July in my eyes but hey I’m no expert on how this stuff would work just wish you all the best xx

Thank you. I rang them and the receptionist said because I'd had freeze all, theyd be lenient about time limits.
The embryologist then emailed me and don't know if I was being oversensitive but he sent me a pic of whatd signed for saying how did you not know it was max one year!?!? Thing is they get you sign reams of paperwork.... I honestly didn't realise.
Anyway they said they'd start the 'clock' from egg collection in May rather than when I paid in March xx
