Any sucess with Grade C embryos?
I had 2 grade C blastocysts put back 2 weeks ago and just got my BFP! It’s early days for us and we’re taking one day at a time but I hope we will be a success story! Good luck! X
Wow that's amazing hun! Thanks for letting us know. I really wish u all the best! Xxx
I’m currently 29 weeks with my 3bc. The 4aa we had totally failed to implant and the 4ab ended in miscarriage. I’ve come to the conclusion that grading doesn’t really mean much. If they are at blastocyst stage and can be frozen then they are good enough to become your little miracle. Wishing you lots of luck!xx
Sending you all the luck in the world for your double transfer! 😘😘 xxxx
Thanks so much, transfer 3 for me, hoping its 3rd time lucky 🤞💕
Good luck. My clinic don't tell the grade as they don't believe in them. And there are articles somewhere about a clinic in New York where they have started to use "lesser grades embryos" and seeing the same overall results.
I guess what I am saying is I don't believe grades mean anything. Your embryos are so young and definitely viable. So really, just focus on that and doing your imagining of them sticking. Keep positive throughout the crazy 2ww, and good luck. Xxx
Thanks Camillage, I'm going to try so hard not to focus on grades! That's very interesting about the clinic in NY xx
My consultant said not to worry about the letters coz it’s subjective based on the embryologist. He said I should only concentrate on the day of the embryo. I had 3 top rate 5 day blastocysts and none of them were successful. He also said a lot of it is down to luck and I’ve just had bad luck so far.
My grade c is currently asleep upstairs ! Like others gave said if it's good enough to survive a freeze nothing else matters!! Good luck. Xx
Hi lovely, I am so pleased I can give you a good story. I have been TTC for 3 years. 2 operations later I had a fresh cycle of IVF. 7 eggs collected, 2 arrested, 5 fertilised but only 2 made it to blastocyst. On day of transfer the embryologist informed me my embryos were of below average quality and they were a grade C. I was advised to transfer both as they would not survive thawing out. I had both transferred with little hope of conception as they said the chances of twins are slim due to quality. I wasn't expecting any to implant following this advice. Well I am happy to say I am carrying twins and I will be 10 weeks tomorrow. Never ever give up hope sweetheart. I was rock bottom and now I'm here. Still extremely cautious mind you 💭 Good luck ❤
