So after our EC yesterday we got 2 mature eggs. We found out today that one successfully fertilised and ET is booked for Saturday.
I’ve been trying to take this journey each step at a time and trying not to get my hopes up but this little embryo gives us soooo much hope ❤️ I know we’ve a long long way to go but today is a good day ❤️
Any advice for ET and the days following would be really appreciated ❤️

ET itself is pretty quick and straightforward. I’ve not got much advice other than don’t wear or use any perfumed products on the day, and if your clinics policy is to have a full bladder, drink at least an hour beforehand. I drank too late on my last one so it didn’t look full on the scan which made it a bit tricky for the dr 🤦♀️. I was told no sex, baths or swimming in the 2ww to avoid infection.
Other than that, relax and have fun - do whatever you fancy on the day whether it’s a nice lunch out or an afternoon on the sofa. Good luck! Xx
Aww excellent news 😍 got everything crossed for you!
Solly seems to have covered everything, just chill out and enjoy the day. It's pretty incredible! We had a nice brunch straight after & a lovely walk in the woods with the dog in the afternoon.
Wishing you the very best for Saturday onwards. Just rest and take things easy. Eat well and plan nice things to do with your fave people to keep yourself occupied and distracted. I hope you get your BFP XX
I have already had 3 embryo transfers and can say that is not a complicated procedure. You should just try to avoid stresses, eat healthy food, drink water and fresh juice, avoid junk food, and spend as much time outdoors as you can. Only positive thoughts and everything will be alright!
Good luck! Embryo transfer was absolutely fine for me. But I drank a bit too much water beforehand so my bladder was uncomfortably full! Did check with the nurses whether anyone had ever actually peed on the table 🙈 (they hadn’t). Wishing you all the best xxx
