ET booked for tomorrow

5 of the 8 fertilised eggs are of good quality so all booked in for ET tomorrow morning.

What is the process? Does it hurt? How long does it take?

Any dos and don’ts for that day and any days after?

We are with nurture, are there any other appointments during the 2ww or it that it?

Sorry for all the questions

Thanks x

Best of Luck with your transfer.

It is an amazing experience to watch them insert your little embryo. We got a little picture to take away.

I was emotional and nervous and had a little bit of cramping - but I am not sure if it was my digestion because of the meds. Maybe others can share their experience and you can compare. It was over very quickly and I was desperate to pee! 😆

I took it easy after the transfer and kept eating healthy and tried to stay stress free for the 2ww. No baths or strenuous exercise etc. which I am sure your clinic will advise....

I didn't have anymore appointments until my blood test on otd. Think that is what makes it feel like a long 2 weeks.

Fingers crossed for you - for me this was an easy bit! Xxx

Hello good luck tomorrow! Your numbers are brilliant. The doc and embryologist should talk to you beforehand about the process and the quality/number of blastocysts you have. Its a simple process just like a smear but they put a tiny catheter in to deliver the wee embryo. You need to have comfortably full bladder so just drink some water on your way in. A nurse will do an ultra sound of your belly so the doc can see where its going. Its actually an amazing process so try to enjoy? As much as possible. Afterwards home to the couch and no high impact/ heavy lifting but you will feel fine. Fingers crossed for you.xx

All done. The embryo they chose was grade A. Have a B & C to freeze and maybe a third.

It was an awful experience. Took about 40 mins. Husband had to leave the room as he nearly fainted (he’s not going to be much use if we get to the giving birth stage lol)

They struggled to get through the cervix, ended up changing ultra sound machine to see if that helped with the view.

Hips hurt, legs shaking from being in the position so long.

Home and chilling, now for this awful 2 week wait.

Now paranoid after the trouble they had that we are going to end up with bad news x

Sorry you had trouble but sounds like you got a 1st class embryo in!

Wishing you best of luck for 2ww!
