So ill during 2WW 😰

So I had my transfer last Thursday and things have gone downhill since!

I started feeling hungover pretty much as soon as I started the lubion injections which are the only thing that’s changed this cycle. The day after transfer I got a little bit of diarrhea, which has got progressively worse and as of last night has been joined by vomiting, clammy skin but no temperature and really bad abdominal pain (upper weirdly but my whole belly feels awful).

It could be a reaction to the drugs, or completely unrelated but either way, I’ve not felt this unwell since I was a kid. I’m waiting for a call back from my clinic and am miserable ☹️ Anyone else had similar? Doesn’t bode well for this cycle I’m thinking - I can’t keep any good down and am also worried I won’t be absorbing the meds (progynova and cyclogest) given the circumstances

I’m so sorry - how awful for you - I wonder if it’s the drugs or if you’ve picked the illness up and it’s a coincidence? I’ve used lubion 4 times with no issues although I currently have a cough and cold and transfer is tomorrow so I’m a bit worried?! Rest up and I hope you’re better soon and the clinic can reassure you xxx

Thanks lovely. Sorry you’re feeling rough too, what timing eh?!

If it makes you feel better I’ve spent far too much time googling today and have read a lot of stories about women being sick over transfer time/in the 2ww and it’s had no effect on the outcome. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 good luck for your transfer tomorrow, will be sending you good vibes! Xx

Oh no! Sorry to hear you've been poorly. It may well be the injections or you could have a bug. Keep pushing the fluids and see what your clinic say! Good luck, I've seen other poorly in the 2ww and have still had success.xx

Thanks lovely. Yeah I feel a bit better now, think I was a bit dehydrated which was making me feel worse. Hope your 2ww isn’t driving you insane yet! Xx

Hi Solly. So sorry to hear that you are feeling so poorly. I don't think it's due to the Lubion, it sounds more like a gastro-intestinal bug of some sort. Hopefully it will be short lasting. You must keep drinking as much water as you can, even if it doesn't all stay down. Have a word with your GP who may recommend some rehydration salts too. Get better soon. Diane

Thank you! Yeah my nurse thought the same, that it sounds more like a bug than a reaction. I’m ploughing on with the liquids! Xx

This happened to me half way through my 2ww, I visited my friend whose husband had just had diarrhoea and vomiting. The next day I was so ill, couldn’t even keep water down let alone any food, felt so dehydrated for 2 days and got myself in a flap thinking it hadn’t worked so did a test and it was positive. Our little embryos are fighters and are very well protected in there! Keep trying water and keeping hydrated, keeping everything crossed for you xx

This is exactly what I need to hear right now so thank you and congratulations on your BFP!! I feel a bit better now but so sleepy and dehydrated so will keep ploughing on with the water and rest! Xx

Good glad you’re feeling better, I think our immune systems are already low so you’ve likely caught a bug, it’s awful isn’t it when you just want everything to go smoothly. I’m now 13 weeks pregnant so keep the hope 🤞🏼 Xxx
