Our blastocyst was just beginning to hatch at yesterday's transfer. In all of my nerves and excitement I forgot to ask what this actually means. I mean I can see the obvious but what difference will it make if any? The embryologist said it's hatching out at around the 10pm mark..

Hatching is a great sign. It it is the stage the embryo moves to after being an expanded blastocyst and it does this just prior to implantation. Sounds like you have a really good looking embryo there xx

Hatching is great it means your little embie is strong and doing what it should, they have higher implantation rates. Ours was fully hatched at the time of transfer and I am now just over 9 weeks pregnant X
