Hi what's the deal with taking injections in luggage, do i need a note from clinic, do they need to go in the hold?. Cheers

I’ve just been to turkey I just packed them in my main luggage and got a cover note from the clinic. It wasn’t needed

I took mine on the Eurostar. I obtained a letter from the clinic to show. The guy at security showed them to his superior but all was fine.

I took tinzaparin to the US in my hand luggage. I had a letter from the clinic but tbh they didn’t seem too fussed at security. I put it through in a clear bag like with other liquids.

I would recommend putting meds in your hand luggage if possible in case your hold luggage goes missing.

I've also been advised to keep in hand luggage with a letter, 1 its really cold down there ,2 you dont want to lose or damage anything.

I usually take them in my hand luggage doe travelling to Greece and haven't had any problems. Usually just tell the staff at security, they dont even want to see my letter from my clinic but always carry one just in case.xx
