8dp5dt BFN 💔

Hi all, I tested tonight using a FRER and it was another BFN.

I knew there was little hope for us as our frozen embies were reducing in quality after the thaw. It still doesn’t make the truth of seeing another negative any easier to take. I don’t know what we are going to do next. I really hope the clinic take the ‘unexplained fertility’ label off us soon - as there is something very wrong! The only time we have ever had a positive was with our ectopic last October 😞😭

I'm really sorry you got a negative, its always so hard to see them. When is your OTD? I don't want to give you false hope but 8dp5dt is still pretty early, particularly for an evening test. My OTD was 11dp5dt and my morning test wasn't that strong, I really don't think I'd have got a positive 3 days earlier and in the evening. It could still change so stay on the meds and try and wait for OTD. Fingers crossed for you x

Hi, thank you for your lovely words. We transferred 2 and they were frozen so there should be at the very least a faint line. I will continue to test until 10dp. I’m just devastated xx

It's still early days! Some ladies get very early BFPs but others have later ones! Hang on in there.xx

Thanks luv, tested again today 10dp and still a clear BFN. Official test day is Monday so there is no chance it will change by then xxx

I’m sorry to hear this. I’m currently the same 8dp5dt but I’ve not tested... too afraid to. When is your OTD? I guess there must be a reason why they say to test then. Mayb it’s too early still?

Frozen transfers can take longer to get bfp, plus you should always use first morning urine as that is the most reliable. 8dp is really early to be testing too. When is otd? 12dp? Do not give up until otd. I have seen many people on here get bfn right up to the day before otd, then on the actual day get a bfp. Please dont torture yourself this early. Wishing you all the best with your otd x

Awww thank you so much for your lovely words. I’ve tested again today (first morning urine with FRER and Clear Blue) and it’s BFN again. Yes, OTD is 12dp. I’ve had my tears for today and ready to phone clinic on Monday now xxxx

Thank you lovely, it’s still negative today. I’ve only ever had positives once and it showed at 8dp - unfortunately it had implanted in right tube 💔 I’ve had 2 negative results with 2 previous transfers too so I just know in my heart that these two embies never implanted. After my morning of crying my husband and I have licked our wounds and are ready to put on our armour to phone clinic with result on Monday xxx

Thank you. It’s just so awful as dealing with a negative result again, we just have to ‘accept’ and ‘deal’ with it, and then ‘get’ on with life. Too cruel. Wishing you all the success in your journey xxxx
