Egg Collection Wednesday

Just wondering what is everybodys opinion on when dp should release to get the best sample on collection day. Nurse said 2-5 days but was just wondering if there was a preferred time

Hey, my egg collection was last Wednesday and he released the Sunday before and they said that was perfect. His results came back really good quality x

Hey our one was like 3.5 days i think haha. We had ec on Friday at 9.30 and we had some husband/wife time at midnight on Monday 😁😁😁😁

Thanks for answering and asking this I was going to ask something similar!! As our first cycle we had absolutely no idea when he needed to be &@&)£!?$$ in time for the collection!! X

That's exactly why I asked seems like such a personal question to be asking a room full of strangers though. But I guess everyone on here is in the same boat and the best people for answers. Slowly realising all embarrassment goes out of the window with this process. Thanks ladies x

Hi cheekylau. My advice would be to abstain from any sex etc for 3 days prior to giving a sample. Hope all goes well and have a good rest afterwards, and don't forget to drink plenty of water. Diane
