Egg Collection Wednesday

Hi everyone,

Had my final scan this morning before EC on Wednesday. I have 12 follicles all growing nicely. Just wondered how many other people had at this stage? Also, just starting getting EWCM and worried this is a sign I’m ovulating? So worried this will happen before egg collection, help! XX

Hi I had 8 follicles on scan and 5 collected. The EWCM comes with the stimulation drugs! I asked my nurse.

Thank you for replying that’s put me at ease about the EWCM. The nurse did say today about follicles it’s he quality not quantity xx

True quality over quantity. I heard the girl next to me got 3.

Take it a day at a time and what will be will be on the collection day. We can try our best and hope. XXX

TMI it was like snot and had to wear a pantyliner each day.

I’m having my EC tomorrow morning. 15 follicles growing well although 2 have grown too big and may have overshot! I’m feeling fit to burst. Hoping for some good Easter eggs, I’d be happy with just a couple 🥚 🤞🤞.

Tbh I don't recall them ever explaining the amount of follicles. The number of follicles also doesn't determine the amount of eggs which I didn't realise! They said they had to (and I quote) 'go fishing' to see how many were there on EC day. Good luck with EC!! X
