2ww crazies!! When to test??

Hi everyone,

I’m in the midst of the 2ww hell!!! I had one grade A blastocyst transferred on the 20th, so I’m not sure if that makes me 7 or 8 dp5dt? My OTD is on the 3rd of May.

I’ve had really strong period like cramps starting from wed onwards, a constant headache for 3 days. I’m really conscious that my breasts aren’t sore. Only a little tender when I poke them to death lol. I know I shouldn’t be reading into every little symptom... but I am 😂!!!

I’ve read a lot of people have tested positive this early on. I really, really want to test today!!

Is this a bad idea? When did everyone else get their BFP? I feel like I’ll go insane if I wait until the 3rd!

I have no idea when to test but just wanted to say I’m sorry you’re going through that and hang in there. It sounds like a really tough process. Xx

Hi MissN, that makes you 7 I believe. Did you have fresh cycle? I had a frozen cycle and had slight spotting and strong period like cramps, on the evening of day 5. I thought it was over so had to test on day 6 just to prepare myself for a negative. However I received a faint positive and then tested every day until my OTD which was Wednesday. Don’t be too concerned about breast mine were just a bit aching at the sides, nothing major. Sounds like you have a good healthy embryo at that grade so 🤞🏼for you. When to test is your choice, I really don’t know how women can wait, I know I couldn’t 🤗. If you are going to cave in then make sure it’s the first wee of the day and it’s around 14 days after your trigger shot as you don’t want that still in your system, Best of luck xxxx

Thank you for the reply. It is a fresh cycle and my first attempt so trying not to get my hopes up. Easier said than done. I’ve decided to do it and keep testing until OTD whatever the result. I feel like I can be more prepared that way. Congrats on your BFP!!!!!!!

Hi lovely, you sound like me! 🤣

I don’t know how people can wait I until OTD. I begin testing usually from day 6 🙈 and test every day. Be careful of trigger shot as it can give you false positive. But its impossible to get a false positive if it was a frozen embryo transfer.

Just remember that things can change!

Wishing you all the luck and plenty of baby dust! Xxxxx

Mine is a fresh transfer. I took the trigger shot 14 days ago so that should be ok? I think 😬. Good luck and lots of baby dust to you too!!!! Xxxx

Make sure you use a decent test, I personally prefer the first response ones, the blue dye ones I don’t find great. Good luck xxx

People will judge you for testing before the test date, however I was a serial tester 🙈😊 I got a positive result 6 days after my frozen transfer, I used first response, I also used the shop savers version of the first response and they are the same test but cheaper. Good luck xx
