Basal body temp...

I have been tracking my ovulation with ovulation sticks, but over a year later, still no pregnancy.

I want to try and track basal body temp...can anyone advise me on the best way to track this? And what happens once i have that information? Thanks x

You'll need a fertility bbt thermometer, you can get one on ebay or amazon.....you want one in Farenheit. You can chart yourself on paper but the apps are far easier, like fertility friend ovulation app. You need to take your temps everyday at the same time as soon as you wake, no getting out of bed first. The app does the rest for you. To bo honest I found it a bit of a pain. If you know that ovulation is happening then this is really just gonna tell you th same thing. I see you've been trying for a year, have you been to see your GP?xx

Yeah I’ve had a couple of tests, blood test for ovulation and a Laprascopy, both came back normal. I’m not sure which the best test to get is next? As I’m wanting to go private because its hard work with my GP. I was thinking the HSG to check my tubes, but no idea if that is the correct next step if you know what i mean? I might order a thermometer then. I’ve been using the pre seed as well, eating ok, exercise most days anyway. So no idea what it could be. 😑 xx

Has your OH had a semen analysis? Has you GP not offered to refer you to a fertility clinic or does he say you havent been trying long enough? I would be asking your GP to at least send you to the hospital and they can instigate any further tests for you to check your tubes etc.xx
