Does anyone know if sunbathing is ok 3 days after FET? It’s not often we get some sun so really wanting to go out and sunbathe for a bit whilst it lasts. It’s not like heat abroad only 19 digrees..
Bit of sunshine: Does anyone know if... - Fertility Network UK
Bit of sunshine
I don't see why not? Enjoy the sunshine while it's here.
I live in Brazil and had FET at the start of summer here. Avoided sunbathing, but just getting the bus to work each day at 1pm, the temperatures must have been well above what you'd experience sunbathing in the UK and it was fine. Enjoy xxx
Thanks. Yeah it’s literally probs peoples winter lol but it’s Scotland’s summer xxx
My baby's due end of July and people keep commenting how we will have to be careful with her in the cold weather (it will be about 18 degrees!!! 10 degrees if it gets really cold!!!). Keep reminding them she's half 'gringa', she can take it.
Best of luck with yours, hope the rest of the wait passes quickly xxx
My clinic told me to stay out direct sunlight after transfer I had mine last June snd was really warm I took their advice and my daughter is now 14months old good luck xxx
I had my transfer during a heatwave and after the procedure me and hubby went and sat in the afternoon sun. I honestly believe it helped. It made me feel great for one thing. I got pregnant and now I'm a mummy to a beautiful little boy who just loves being out in the sun, or rain for that matter!
Go and get some rays!! ☉
I just felt so rubbish so seeing a bit of sun I had to get out there. I done it and hopefully it’s not effected anything. I do think it will be fine because I was covered up and kept hydrated too. As I said above only 18 digress so not very warm at all compared to some places. Thankyou 💗
From everything I've been told or read before, it's keeping your body temperature down that's key... So maybe just short bouts in the sun at a time, and make sure you don't get overheated or start to sweat? Otherwise, I've also read a little vitamin D is a good thing for implantation, so enjoy 😊 xx
Go for it! Sunshine is the best way to get vitamin D into your body, and you need that when trying to and being pregnant. Stay hydrated, use a bit of suntan lotion (factor 50 won't allow you to get any vitamin D but don't go burning!) and if you're worried, cover your tummy with something loose. Enjoy the nice weather, it's entirely possible to do so safely. Good luck with this round x
Thankyou so much xxx
