High fragmented Embryo

Does anyone have a success story they can share where they had high fragmentation in their embryo and still had a positive pregnancy test? We have just transferred 1 embryo (only had 1 to transfer) on day 2 and they told us it was 50% fragmented which is quite high. Apparently this can rectify itself once it’s in the body.

Please if anyone can share a positive story as I’m so worried and convinced it’s not gona work. I don’t know how I’m going to last another 12 days of waiting ☹️

Hi, I’m sorry to hear this round has been so disappointing, it’s so hard after all the work we put into it isn’t it? We had an abysmal round in December despite me going on a healthy diet and losing loads of weight beforehand - sometimes it seems to be down to luck and things beyond our control. However you managed to get to transfer which is fantastic 👍🏻 Hang on in there as you really never know which ones are going to make a baby, despite all the science behind these things there’s a huge element of mystery. I’m really heartened to hear that fragmentation can rectify itself in the body too. No advice for the 2WW as I’m just as anxiety-ridden, except perhaps to try deep breathing and visualisation.

I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you! X

Thanks so much for your kind words and encouragement I’m having a really bad day today probably as a result of all the medication. We’re off on holidays on Thurs for a few days so I’m hoping that will really help take my mind off things. Wishing you the best of luck also, here’s hoping we both get good news 🍀🍀 xx

Thank you 😊 This journey is so tough, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Think I’ve been driving my husband mad with the “what ifs”! That’s good timing that you have a holiday booked - keeping busy and distracted is definitely good, and if you can manage to relax at all that’s a bonus! xx
